MacProject II provides several ways for you to enter dates and durations for the actual work on each task, as well as the actual cost and income figures. You can:

Enter data for each task in the Task Info window.
Adjust the actual bars in the timeline charts.
Enter all the schedule and cost data in the Project Table.

When you enter actual data in one chart, MacProject II automatically updates the other charts with that information.
Once you have added at least one actual date, you should change to Calculate Using Actual in the Dates menu so that the actual dates are used in schedule calculations. You might occasionally want to change back to Calculate Using Planned to see how the actual project compares with the way you had it planned.
